The Tisbury Ambulance Service is a community-based, not-for-profit, advanced life support pre-hospital care EMS department, committed to providing the highest level of patient care to the Town of Tisbury and surrounding communities.

Our service operates two Class III ambulances licensed at the advanced life support (ALS) level which transport patients to Martha's Vineyard Hospital. We have a blended staffing model consisting of full-time, part-time, and per diem members, and we provide 24/7 coverage at the Paramedic Level, 365 days a year. These dedicated individuals are the backbone of the Service, all of whom work exceptionally hard to provide the best emergency care available to the Town. The Tisbury Ambulance Service strives to continuously educated our providers and stay on top of our skills to ensure that those in our community are treated properly and promptly.

We work closely with the Tisbury Fire Department but are separate entities. The Tisbury Ambulance Service responds to all medical, fire, and motor vehicle accidents in Tisbury, and provides mutual aid to surrounding towns.

The Service is a resource for blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring, we offer CPR, Stop the Bleed, and Safe Sitting courses to the community, and we also provide detail coverage for various events in Tisbury. Please call the main office at 508-696-4246, ext. 404 for more information.
